Created by renowned South African DJ and producer DJ Kent, BLOMA is more than just a music event. Inspired by the township tradition of gathering at a favourite local spot to connect, unwind and celebrate life, BLOMA was created to bring that same sense of belonging into a contemporary lifestyle and music experience.
After more than two decades behind the decks, DJ Kent launched BLOMA as a natural evolution of his musical journey. Central to the experience is a carefully curated three-hour set from DJ Kent himself, a journey through the records, memories and defining moments that have shaped his career. Each BLOMA is designed as a unique moment in time, where music, nostalgia and connection come together to tell a story that can only be experienced in that room, on that day, with that crowd.
Following a successful debut, BLOMA returns to Cape Town this December, continuing its mission of creating soulful, elevated spaces where music lovers can connect, unwind and celebrate the weekend spirit.
